Through an innovative and never predictable path, Mus! The Museum of Livigno and Trepalle, located in an ancient house, accompanies visitors in the discovery of the past of this territory and guides them through the dynamics that have led to its present.
With faithful reconstructions of domestic environments and interesting themed sections, the museum bears witness to the spirit of adaptation and the art of getting by with little, developed by inhabitants over the centuries. Time after time, they have managed to create a fragile balance in prolonged isolation. The result of these efforts is a town that, besides geographical and political borders, is different from its surrounding neighbours at lower altitudes, in environment, language, traditions, cuisine and clothing.
